Hi again, I'm Nasif.

The longer version — networks, building, travel, and the road in between.

The short version

The short version

I'm a Network Security Engineer at GulfIT in Dubai, where I spend my days deploying and managing SD-WAN and SASE networks for clients across the region. Specifically: a lot of HPE Aruba EdgeConnect, Aruba Orchestrator, and Axis Security Service Edge. If you've ever wondered who makes sure your office's branches can securely talk to each other over the cloud — yeah, that's the kind of thing I do.

On the side there's Forzateks — my studio for chasing what's next and building the ideas worth building. AI workflows, security tooling, the occasional blockchain rabbit hole, and a standing curiosity about whatever's coming after. It's curiosity first; the client work is just what happens when the curiosity turns out useful.

Outside work, I travel. Mostly the Caucasus and Central Asia so far, with the occasional pilgrimage. The map on the travel page has the receipts.

What I'm working on right now

SD-WAN & SASE at GulfIT

Designing and deploying Aruba EdgeConnect and Axis SSE networks for clients across the Gulf region. Lately a lot of Azure-cloud hybrid setups, IPSec tunneling, and the kind of HLD/LLD documentation engineers pretend they enjoy writing.

Forzateks

The name I build under — a personal studio for poking at new tech (AI, security, blockchain, whatever's next) and shipping the ideas worth shipping. Curiosity first; the client work is what happens when it turns out useful.

Always learning

Currently going deeper on cloud-native networking, AI integrations, and modern web stacks. The cert badges keep multiplying.

A few things

A few things about me

  • I read way more than I write. Working on changing that.
  • Caffeine, but only after 10am. I have rules.
  • The Caucasus might be my favorite region on earth so far.
  • I'd rather build something small that works than something big that almost does.
  • Slightly obsessive about good documentation. Probably why HLDs come naturally — and why I'm building this site.
